• Weightlifting

  I am a dedicated member at my university's gym and some of my goals for this year include: hitting 225 lbs on bench press, putting on 10 more lbs of muscle, and to simply remain consistent.

• Snowboarding

  Ever since I went snowboarding for the first time, I've been hooked. I am not exagerating when I say that there is no better feeling than flying down a mountain on fresh snow with your friends.

• Video Games

  Games have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From board games to video games, I cherish the escape and enjoyment they provide from real-world stress. However, as adult responsibilities grow, I've learned to balance this passion with more productive pursuits.

University Involvement

• Cyber Intelligence and Security Organization (CISO)

  In my role as the CIO of CISO (our university's cybersecurity club), I'm basically a developer behind the scenes. I've got my hands in everything from completely rebuilding our club website from the ground up to managing our server room, which is like the digital heartbeat of our organization. Beyond those two things I frequently attend networking events and school-wide activities to represent our club and make connections.

• NSF Scholarship for Service Recipient

  As a recipient of the SFS scholarship, I have a long list of responsibilities. The one I'm choosing to highlight today, however, is my involvement in the advancement of my fellow students. Using the resources provided by the program and my own knowledge, I've been able to provide guidance and mentorship to students who are interested in furthering their education and employment opportunities in cybersecurity.

Future Plans

My goal is to establish myself in the professional world of IT and cybersecurity. With the ever-evolving landscape of technology, I am committed to continuous learning and growth, especially in emerging fields like AI and machine learning. I'm always on the lookout for new trends and innovations that could shape the future of tech. Beyond my immediate career goals, I harbor an entrepreneurial spirit. One day, I hope to launch my own startup, bringing to life innovative solutions that could potentially revolutionize how we interact with technology. This ambition fuels my drive to not only excel in my field but also to think creatively about how we can leverage cutting-edge tech to solve real-world problems. For now, I'm focused on honing my skills, gaining invaluable experience, and nurturing the seeds of ideas that could grow into something groundbreaking. The next big tech innovation? It might just be taking shape in my mind as we speak!
